Google’s Project Fi Wireless Service Starts at $20, Invites being Taken

projectfiGoogle has opened invite requests for Project Fi, their new wireless network service. It is being rolled out in partnership with T-Mobile and Sprint and will offer seamless transitioning between the two cellular networks and over a million verified fast and reliable Wi-Fi hotspots. Plans start at $20, which offers unlimited talk and international texting. 4G data can be add at $10 per GB and you only pay for the data you use. Any unused data will be credited back to your account ¬†at the end of each month. Your current phone number can also be ported over to be used with Project Fi and there’s no contracts. The Google Nexus 6 is currently the only phone that is compatible with the network to start.
