That’s about $20 more than then previous deal but we are in the dead of summer and this is still a great deal.

This Hisense Smart Inverter Window Air Conditioner features 8,000 BTU that suitable for up to a 350 sq. ft. space (up to 550 sq. ft. for the 12,000 BTU model), Wifi connectivity for wireless controls, Energy Star compliant with an energy saver and sleep mode mode, multiple fan speeds, and has a sound rating as low as 37 decibels. It looks similar to the Media U-Shapped AC, which currently has a recall. I owned the Media U-Shapped AC for a few seasons and don’t have the mold issues that some users have experience and really love the unit. They are essentially a mini split systems where they have two main components, an outdoor compressor/condenser and an indoor air-handling unit. They are connect at the base in this very innovated design that allows it to be installed in a window. The main benefit of these units are that they are very energy efficient and whisper quiet.

This is not an amazing price, but we are in the peek of summer and they don’t tend to drop that low in price this time of year but some may still need a unit to get through this summer.  I’ve owned the Media U-Shapped AC for a few years now and love how quiet they are and how efficient they run. I haven’t had any of the mold issues being report but maybe I don’t run mines as long as others and I often run the fan for a little while after each use to dry out he blower.
