Intuit.com is offering Personal 1040EZ Tax Returns and Federal Tax Filing for FREE for a limited time. The basic 1040EZ return is completely free to prepare and E-File. If your taxes are more involved and require a paid version of TurboTax, you can still start in free trial mode all the way to the point of printing or filing before you’ll be required to pay. The TurboTax site has version-by-version comparison detail so you can quickly identify the version that’s appropriate for you. No matter which version of TurboTax you choose, you’ll also get free Federal E-Filing. Deal expires April 15, 2010.

Intuit.com is offering TurboTax Online 2009 Federal tax preparation software for FREE. This includes FREE eFiling for your Federal tax return as well. State editions are not included. This version of TurboTax is designed for users with simple taxes that don’t need much guidance.
