All you need is a New York, Queens, and Brooklyn Public liberty card, which is Free for New Yorkers to obtain at their local library branch. Once you have your library card, you can verify your information on this site to download day-long Culture Passes. Only certain number of passes may be available for a given date, so reserve early if you have a date in mind.
