Sinemia is offering 30% off gift cards for a limited time. They have been making a lot of quick changes to the service, many of which the community is very unhappy about, like charging a $1.80 per ticket processing fee. This deal is not for everyone and but for the select few that enjoy Sinemia, 30% is a rather large discount. These gift cards can be only used to pay for membership fees when join or renew and can’t be applied to their processing fees.

Sinemia is a movie subscription service that gives you access to a certain amount of movies at your theater. They have plans as low as $3.99/month for one movie a month or as much $28.99/month for a movie each day. Unlike MoviePass which lets you see only 2D movies, Sinemia has plans that give you access to see movies in premium formats like 3D, IMAX 2D, IMAX 3D, XD, Dolby Atmos, ScreenX, Dbox, or 4DX. Sinemia uses a virtual card system (they will be offering physical cards again soon) that requires you to book tickets through sites like Fandango and Atom Tickets. You will be responsible for the convenience fees but they can be bypass by using a theater’s loyalty program or when you start your booking on Facebook (FB is paying the fees). If you are or were a MoviePass or Alist member, you can also get FREE $10 credit when signing up. Unlike MoviePass which lets you see one 2D movie every day, Sinemia’s Entertainment membership only gives you access to 2 movies a month but you can see them in premium formats like 3D, IMAX 2D, IMAX 3D, XD, Dolby Atmos, ScreenX, Dbox, or 4DX. The provided debit card to purchase your tickets can be used in-theater or in-app for advance tickets. MoviePass requires in-theater ticket purchase for most of their supported locations. Sinemia also has a 3 movie a month plan that starts at $12.99/month (billed annually) and well as movie plans for couples. Their customer service has also been more responsive than MoviePass as well.
