Apple is offering qualifying students 50% off subscriptions to Apple Music, that comes out to $4.99 per month (regularly $9.99) in the US. The offer is rolling out in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia and more countries. Prices will vary depending on the region. To qualify, students must be currently attending an eligible university or college. Discount is valid for up to four years. Existing Apple Music subscribers can migrate to the cheaper student plan if they qualify in the Settings section of the Apple Music app.
Spotify also offers a similar discounted plan for students.
