Amazon has the Apple Macbook Air 13.6″ M5 Processor with 16GB RAM & 512GB SSD in Sky Blue, Midnight, Silver, or Starlight for $1099 (1299 – 200 instant savings ) with Free Shipping for a limited time. They also have the more powerful MacBook Air 13.6 M4 with 16GB RAM 1TB SSD for $1399 (1599 – 200 instant savings) and the 24GB RAM & 1TB SSD model for $1599 (1799 – 200 instant savings) with Free Shipping for a limited time. The retail prices have gone up substantially on these devices given the rise in component cost. The current sale price was more like the retail price a few months ago, but if you need a MacBook now, there is not much we can do. The rising cost doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon.

The newly updated Macbook Air M5 is a small update from M4. It adds Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) vs Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 6 vs Bluetooth 5.3. The entry model comes standard with 512GB SSD that is much faster than the 256GB SSD found in the M4 base model. The new M5 provides roughly 15-20% faster CPU and 30% faster GPU performance.  I still has the same design with a 13.6″ 2560 x 1664 IPS Liquid Retina display that supports 1 billion colors with 500 nits of brightness, up to 32GB Unified RAM, MagSafe charging port, and runs macOS.
