Amtrak is offering special pricing for some of its routes and there’re no blackout dates between August and March too.

Amtrak roomettes and bedrooms are complete with bed linens, pillows, temperature controls, lights, bed-side storage nooks, electrical outlets, huge double-decker windows, and a fold-down table. $89 Round-Trip Train Fares Between NYC and Montreal on Amtrak for $89

Amtrak is offering a roundtrip between New York City and all stations along the Adirondack route as far north as Montreal, Quebec for $89 for a limited time. This deal is valid for travel Thursday through Monday through April 26, 2012. Blackout dates include February 17 and 20, and April 5, 6, and 9. Tickets must be booked at least three days in advance, and all travel must be completed within five days. Deal ends April 23, 2012.
